Ambika Academy proudly welcomes Chef Nishant Prasad as a mentor, a chef whose journey through the culinary world is marked by both global expertise and a passion for innovative cuisine. Chef Nishant began his foundational training at the prestigious Institute of Hotel Management (IHM) Bangalore, where he earned his Bachelor's degree in Hospitality & Hotel Administration. This strong educational foundation set the stage for a flourishing career, allowing him to hone his skills and gain a deep understanding of the art of cooking.

His professional career began at the Metropolitan Hotel in Delhi, where he was trained in an authentic Japanese restaurant. This unique experience introduced him to the intricate and refined world of Japanese cuisine, and his time there helped shape his culinary identity. Soon, he advanced to the renowned Taj Mahal Hotel in Delhi, where he joined the team at Wasabi by Morimoto, one of the country’s top fine-dining establishments specializing in progressive Japanese cuisine. Under the guidance of culinary masters, Chef Nishant rapidly progressed through the ranks, from a Commis Chef to a Senior Chef de Partie, mastering the art of Japanese cooking while refining his techniques.

Chef Nishant’s expertise did not remain confined to India. With an adventurous spirit and a thirst for growth, he expanded his culinary horizons to Dubai, a global hub of diverse cuisines and culinary innovation. This international exposure allowed him to refine his skills further, adapting to the ever-evolving tastes and trends of the food world.

Currently, Chef Nishant Prasad serves as the Head Chef at Sushi Library in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), where he manages operations across six outlets. In this leadership role, Chef Nishant oversees a team of chefs, ensuring that each location maintains the high standards of culinary excellence he has cultivated throughout his career. His vast experience in both fine dining and managing large-scale operations positions him as a dynamic force in the culinary industry.

As a guest faculty member at Ambika Academy, Chef Nishant Prasad brings with him not only a wealth of knowledge in Japanese cuisine but also a deep understanding of the global culinary landscape. His expertise and leadership will provide students with unparalleled insights into the world of culinary arts, equipping them with the skills and inspiration needed to excel in the competitive hospitality industry.
